Kyle P. Shaughnessy
Senior Associate
Kyle P. Shaughnessy is a Senior Associate in the transactional practice group at Winter Capriola Zenner. He advises and counsels community association boards and managers on a wide range of legal matters, including interpretation of governing documents, amendments, and corporate governance. His practice also includes serving business clients as general counsel, handling review and negotiation of contracts and leases, entity formation and structuring, and business and real estate sales and acquisitions.
With over ten years of experience, Kyle brings a strategic perspective that helps clients achieve their objectives through tailored and practical solutions. He is recognized for his ability to understand complex client needs and develop effective strategies accordingly.
Kyle grew up in Dalton, Georgia. He earned his B.A. in English from the University of Georgia in 2010 and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2015, where he served on the Georgia Law Review and was a member of the Business Negotiations Team. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia State and Superior Courts.
Kyle currently serves as Chair of the Education Seminar Committee within the Georgia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star in 2024 and 2025.
Outside of work, Kyle enjoys reading, college football, and spending time with his wife and two children.
