Darius J. Reese
Associate
Darius J. Reese is an Associate in the firm’s collections litigation group at Winter Capriola Zenner. He represents condominium and homeowner associations in the recovery of unpaid assessments, handling pre-suit demands, settlement negotiations, litigation, and post-judgment enforcement. He also assists associations in matters involving property owner bankruptcies and works closely with community managers and board members to support the financial operations of the communities they serve.
Darius is a proud Georgia native. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and received his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law. After law school, he worked as a social worker, an experience that deepened his client-centered approach to legal practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Darius built a well-rounded legal foundation through both public service and private practice. He served as a public defender and staff attorney at the Fulton County Juvenile Court, where he gained courtroom experience and developed a strong commitment to advocacy. He later practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, insurance defense, and general civil litigation, further refining his skills in trial work, mediation, and negotiation.
Outside of the office, Darius enjoys traveling, attending concerts and sporting events, and exploring the Atlanta area with his rescue dog. He resides in the Vinings community in Metro Atlanta.
